Purposeful Poetry with Dictation was born from my love for classical children's literature. This curriculum was created to fill a simple need: I wanted a program that allowed magnificent poetry and classical literature to be made available to be studied, understood, and loved by children.
There are two sections in this curriculum; Purposeful Dictation and Purposeful Poetry. The dictation section includes passages from some of the most loved classical stories. The poetry section includes 36 of my favorite poems, vocabulary words, questions to think about, and more. I was delighted when I found the quirky illustrations by Iveta Vaicule, and I think that they compliment the program beautifully. I hope that they evoke as much discussion and enjoyment in your kids as they did in mine!
